Kirkland Annexation could be in the near future (Seattle Times)

Kirkland annexation barely fails; council could pass it
An effort to annex the neighborhoods of Finn Hill, Kingsgate and Juanita into the city of Kirkland failed to reach the required 60 percent. The Kirkland City Council is considering whether to take a vote to still annex the unincorporated neighborhoods into the city.

Zombie Outbreak Simulator on Google Maps(R)

Some time ago, I wrote about a little web app that constructed a fake city, then ran a zombie simulation on it. It was pretty cool to watch all these small dots change colors as the zombies infected the entire city. Well, a new game company has taken this concept to the next level. Instead of dots, the zombies are animated, and oh, there is blood!
